Young Daphné
Daphné was born in August 1987 in Malestroit, Brittany, during Marie-Hélène's summer vacation. Marie-Hélène was spending her summer vacation with her parents in their Breton cottage, called La Grée; near where the family of her father, Jacques, originated. Grand-père was himself born and raised in Paris but retired to La Grée in Brittany. Along with Alban, who arrived in September 1989, Daphné lived with Marie-Hélène and Pierre, her dad, in a bright and sunny apartment in Paris until 1994, when her maman moved in with Ian in an old house called Le Tahu in a forest to the west of Paris. That began the process referred to by professionals in the domain as blending the two families.
